As 2020 draws to a close, there are few essential things we ask Club Members to do to get the most out of their membership. Here, we give you a quick checklist to ensure you have everything covered before year’s end.

Pay Your Annual Maintenance Fees
Maintenance fees are due on January 1, 2021. These fees are a key component of your Home Resort’s operational budget, ensuring you have a great vacation experience with every visit. The annual assessment process starts in late September and continues through December. As each association finalizes next year’s budget, fees are posted to your Owner Club account. Check the Club website to see if your property’s maintenance fees have been assessed. If they have, click on “Make a Payment” to get started. Planning Tip: We all get busy around the holidays. Pay your annual maintenance fees (by January 1) and Club Dues (by December 31) before their deadline to avoid any late fees and other penalties.
Plan Ahead
Thanks to the higher demand for inventory, we urge you to plan your vacation ahead of time. If you need inspiration, the Club website offers tips on how to plan the best vacation by Points value, experience or destination. And if you need help making a reservation or searching available inventory, Club Navigator has you covered. In addition to providing booking tips, Club Navigator offers a Vacation Planning Guide and Vacation Planning Calendar, both of which can help you map your next vacation experience with HGV.
Saved Points
We know that many Club Members had their travel plans interrupted this year — but that’s no reason not to look forward to traveling next year! To help you, HGV is saving any remaining 2020 ClubPoints into 2021 at no cost to you. And if you already paid to save your 2020 Points into 2021, don’t worry: You will receive a refund of the amount paid by December 14, 2020.
Your 2020 ClubPoints will appear as 2021 Saved Points in your account (also by December 14). If you are ready to book a 2021 reservation now using your 2020 Points, you can save them online at no cost and use them to book your 2021 reservation.
Please Note: Your 2021 maintenance fees must be paid to be able to use your Saved Points for any future booking.

While inventory is available at most of our re-opened resorts, it’s also important to bear in mind that if you do have to call Club for any reason during the booking process, you may experience delays due to high call volumes.
If you call Club and experience a wait-time delay, please take advantage of our call-back feature. Also, avoid calling or sending emails multiple times on the same issue as this will only lead to further delays. We encourage you to visit the Club website or use the HGV Mobile App to find what you need. (More than likely, you’ll find the information you need online.)
